• Grub was replaced by the Runnix bootloader
• Runnix allows easy upgrades (via WebGUI or CLI)
• UnionFS usage
• Asterisk 1.4.x versions

• Newer Linux kernel (2.6.20.21 in 0.6.8 compared to 2.6.16.12 in 0.4.8)
• curl, ethtool, nmap, sipp (not all packages are enabled by default)
• New Web interface by Lonnie, see altweb-changelog.txt (0.6.x uses versions up to 1.4.07)
• Arno's Iptables Firewall was added
